What is the Big Pink Benefit?

The Big Pink Benefit is an annual fundraising event that raises funds to support Lone Star Circle of Care’s Big Pink Bus, a mobile mammography service that brings accessible and affordable mobile mammograms to underserved and uninsured women in Central Texas. When and where will the 2026 Big Pink Benefit take place?

The Big Pink Benefit will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at El Buen Samaritano (7000 Woodhue Dr, Austin, TX 78745).

Who can attend the Big Pink Benefit? 

The Big Pink Benefit is open to the public and warmly welcomes anyone impacted by breast cancer, along with supporters of the Big Pink Bus and its mission.

What are the different registration categories?

The Big Pink Benefit offers four registration options to fit every level of support. All registrations include a t-shirt, swag bag, meal, and drinks. Explore the options below to find the perfect fit for you:

Individual Benefit Entry
Includes one general admission for a fabulous, fun-filled morning with friends in support of a great cause.

Breast Friends Package
Grab your favorite plus-one and double the impact! Designed for two friends supporting breast cancer awareness together. This package includes two benefit entries with guaranteed seating together.

Power in Pink Package
Rally your crew and show up strong in pink! Perfect for families or friend groups who want to make a bigger impact together. This package includes four (4) benefit entries with guaranteed seating together (half table).

Circle of Care Package
Bring the whole crew and share the hope! Enjoy a reserved table for eight as you celebrate survivors, honor loved ones, and fund lifesaving screenings together. This package includes eight (8) benefit entries and a fully reserved table for 8 guests.

Is fundraising required?

While fundraising is not required, it is encouraged. All registrations come with your own personal fundraising page that you can customize and share with your network. All proceeds from the event benefit the Big Pink Bus, providing life-saving breast cancer screenings to women in Central Texas.

What is Bloomerang/Qgiv?

Bloomerang/Qgiv is the online fundraising platform that Big Pink Benefit uses for registration and fundraising. Each registered participant creates a personal fundraising page with a dedicated URL to collect donations. 

Are donations made to the Big Pink Benefit tax deductible?

Yes, the Big Pink Benefit is presented by Lone Star Circle of Care, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization (EIN Tax ID 74-3001674) and donations are tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. tax law. To claim a donation as a deduction on U.S. taxes, donors should keep the email donation receipt, issued for each gift, as an official record. 

Do employer matching gifts count towards my fundraising goal?

Yes! Encourage your donors to check with their employers about matching gift opportunities. Remember to direct matching funds directly to Lone Star Circle of Care (EIN 74-3001674) and designate for the Big Pink Benefit.
